We aim to establish an environment where all individuals feel welcome and safe in a fun and supportive atmosphere. We encourage participants to take an active role in creating an inclusive and diverse conference where we work together to advance mathematics and learn from one-another.
MOSAiC is committed to creating a space which is both professional and welcoming to all participants irregardless of sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnicity, race, religion, age, marital status, disability, body weight/size, class, mathematical experience or any other factor. As such, we will not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment. Behavior, language or conduct (either verbal or written) that is acceptable or welcomed by one person might be unwelcome or offensive to another. We therefore ask to be mindful to ensure that your words and/or actions communicate respect for one another.
If a participant engages in any form of discriminatory or harassing behavior, the organizers may take any action that is deemed appropriate at the time; whether that means giving a warning or an immediate ban from the conference.
If you are being harassed, made to feel uncomfortable with the way you are being treated, notice someone else being harassed, or if you have any other concerns, please contact or get in touch with any of the organizers. All reports will be handled in the strictest confidentiality and will be taken seriously.
